The mission of the Faith Formation Program at Saint Simon the Apostle Catholic Church is to foster a lifetime of growth in our relationship with Jesus Christ and each other through learning and experiencing the sacraments, catholic faith and traditions, and individual spiritual development.
Faith formation is a lifelong process and through Faith Formation classes we provide formal catechesis from Pre-K through 8th grade. Guidelines for this formation are developed under the guidance of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis. Through this formation, the parish can work in partnership with parents to assist with the development of your children's Catholic faith, prayer life, sacraments, and tradition.
The office of Faith Formation oversees all formation for the Holy Sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation, Eucharist, and Confirmation for children.
Registration is ongoing. However, it is helpful for planning purposes to register for the upcoming school year as soon as possible.
