Jacob Krevda, known as Jake, grew up in Carmel, Indiana, where he attended mass at St. Elizabeth Seton. He pursued his education in Catholic schools from high school through college, which laid a strong foundation for his career in Catcholic education.
Jake began his professional journey at St. Simon as a middle school social studies teacher. His passion for education led him to earn a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Marian University. Following this achievement, he taught at the high school level for two years before transitioning into administration at St. Phillip Neri.
In 2021, Jake returned to St. Simon, this time as an administrator, and he has been serving as the Assistant Principal since then.
Outside of his professional life, Jake enjoys spending quality time with his wife and daughter. They love hiking, watching sports, and reading together. Despite being deaf and wearing hearing aids in both ears, Jake has an impressive ability to lip read with pinpoint accuracy from across the room.
