Saint Simon Welcomes Sr. Mary Michael Fox, OP, as a Special Guest Speaker for Advent
Sr. Mary Michael Fox will be our special guest speaker Monday, November 14, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. to prepare us for the upcoming Advent Season. Save the date now!
Sister’s talk will focus on Romans 8:31-39 – “Nothing can separate us from the love of God” It will be both a talk on the virtue of Hope and the Eucharist linking us to the Eucharistic Revival that the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) has initiated. The National Eucharistic Revival is a movement to restore understanding and devotion to this great mystery here in the United States. In 2024, the world gathers for the Eucharistic Congress in Indianapolis.
Sr. Mary Michael Fox, OP, has been a member of the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia (Nashville) for 30 years. During that time, she has been blessed to teach all ages from 3 to 93. Sister received a masters of arts degree in theology with a specialization in catechetics from Franciscan University and a PhD through the Maryvale Institute of Birmingham, England, where she examined the unique pedagogy of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. Saint Simon is very excited to welcome her to lead us into the Advent Season. Please plan to join us!
